The welcome drink is a short moment before the ceremony, particularly suitable for weddings that are celebrated in a church.
Guests are served a small refreshing drink, usually an aromatic water or a fresh fruit juice.
The welcome drink can be served in various ways, my favourite being the bee bar service, a real bar on wheels, very convenient from a logistical point of view and very funny.
At the end of the ceremony, then, the welcome drink will become a real cheers drink, allowing you to immediately make a toast with some bubbles or have a refreshing coffee.
The welcome drink/cheers drink is a very smart choice because it helps prevent your guests from being tempted to stop on the way from the ceremony to the venue to freshen up, with the consequence that no one will get lost and the reception can start without delay!

Il welcome drink è un breve momento che precede la cerimonia, particolarmente indicato per i matrimoni che vengono celebrati in Chiesa.
Agli ospiti viene servito un piccolo drink rinfrescante, di solito un’acqua aromatica o un succo di frutta fresco.
Il welcome drink può essere servito in vari modi, il mio preferito è il servizio con ape bar , un vero e proprio bar su ruote, molto comodo da un punto di vista logistico e molto divertente.
Al termine della cerimonia, poi, il welcome drink diventerà un vero e proprio cheers drink che vi consentirà di fare subito un brindisi con delle bollicine oppure prendere un caffè ristoratore.
Quella del welcome drink/cheers drink è una scelta molto furba perché aiuta ad evitare che i vostri ospiti vengano tentati dal fermarsi durante il tragitto cerimonia- location per rinfrescarsi, con la conseguenza che nessuno si perderà e il ricevimento potrà cominciare senza ritardo!
